Mayfield High School * Specify and plan the task This project is about different information, such as KS3 result, eye colour and weight and height of the students, provided on a school call Mayfield High School. I was presented with different line of enquiry to choose from. I decided to investigate the relationship between the height and the weight of the students. Predictions: Boys are taller and heavier than girls The taller the student the heavier he is. (That should apply to both boys and girls) To test the first prediction I will use the mean because the mean will allow me to find the tallest and heaviest overall. I will also draw a scatter diagram to study the relationship between the height and the weight of the students. If the correlation is good I will not look at then two genders.
