Mayfield High School Coursework My Hypothesis: In my coursework I am going to investigate whether the taller a person is, the more that person weighs. Choosing My Sample: I have chosen to do a stratified random sample, by doing this I will end up with a sample which is proportional to each section of the population. By doing this is till mean that my sample will truly represent the whole population. I will select my random pupils by using a calculator by performing: 2ndF then by pressing the number 7. Using my stratified sample, I will produce a scatter graph for each year group; this is including three graphs per year group consisting of mixed (boys and girls) then another two, one with just the girls and the other with just the boys....
