Making sense of data- firing a projectile from a blowpipe Introduction In this coursework I intend to interpret secondary data (obtained from teacher) from an experiment that has recorded the ranges of a projectile when fired at various horizontal velocities across a blowpipe at certain vertical heights above the ground. From the results, suitable graphs will be drawn in order to discover any trends that may be found. Inclusive in the graphs, plots of the theoretical ranges, which are expected to be proportional to the increase in horizontal velocity, will allow comparisons to be made with the actual ranges gathered from the experiment, and so investigate the reliability of the results. Any seemingly anomalous results will try to be explained when highlighting possible sources of error from the procedure used in collating the results. From the lines of best fit drawn for each graph, several readings may be taken in order to produce another...
