P O A E Surfaces and drop height. Part 1 The investigation is 'to investigate the variables that effect the bounce of a ball'. The investigation involves the variable of drop height and surface for two types of ball. The first variable involved in the experiment is, surfaces. The other variables involved are drop height and ball. The variables involved that will be changed are type of surface. The variables that will be kept the same are drop height and ball. My prediction is that the ball will reach different heights from the different surfaces; this will be mainly due to what the surface is made up by. The apparatus that will be used in the experiment are the following, 1 metre ruler 1 tennis ball To make the fair I will drop the ball from the same height of 1 metre, I will use the same ball and take five readings so I can get an average of the...
