Maths Coursework (Statistics) By Christopher Wood 11AH Introduction In this coursework we have been told we have to study a year group and we have to look at the boys and girls in that year group and find out the differences between them. As a class we decided the best way to pick a year group was to pick it randomly. Our teacher wrote out the year groups 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 onto cards and we had to pick a card randomly. I picked year group 9. We were given data sheets which gave us data for every pupil in year 9, male and female, and gave us their Name, Age, IQ, Weight, Height, Hair Colour, Eye Colour, Shoe Size, Distance from home to school, Usual method of travel to school, Number of brothers or sisters, Key stage 2 results in English, Maths, and Science and Key stage 3 results in English, Maths...
