Maths Coursework I am going to investigate weight, age, gender and height. I am going to investigate whether there is a correlation between the weight and height of people and whether the age or gender affects the weight or height in any way. I have chosen to use all the year groups to take part in my investigation, rather than taking random samples of people from the school, as I think it would make a more interesting project to compare data across the whole school. I chose these categories as I predict that there will be an obvious correlation between the four of them. I chose weight, height and gender as they are quantitative data and therefore easier to work with. I predict that as the age of the children increases, so will the height and weight of the children.
