GCSE Data Handling Coursework Plan I am going to compare the relationship between height and weight. I will also see if there is a difference between the relationships in different years. I have chosen to use the Mayfield High School data to investigate the height weight relationships. The school is fictitious however the data is based on that of a real school. I am using data which contains only pupils in the school years 7 to 11, which are pupils aged 12 to 16. I am going to use a sample of 125 people. I believe that weight and height will have a strong positive correlation and that it will be true for all year groups. I think this because taller people tend to have similar builds to smaller people just in a larger scale. Therefore an average larger person should weigh more than an average smaller person.
