Data Handling Coursework I believe that males have a higher IQ than females. I intend to do this by collecting 50 random bits of data for male and 50 random bits of data for females. To get a random number on a calculator press SHIFT, RAN#, then multiply the number by 370 then round it off to a whole number. I will then put the data into two basic tables one for male and one for female. I will then put the data into groups onto another table. In this table, I will make columns for the frequency, middle value, cumulative frequency, and then frequency x middle value. After I have done this I will be able to work out the male and female modal class interval, median, lower quartile, upper quartile, inter quartile range, and then I will work out the mean.
