Bounce efficiency test on various surfaces. Introduction. This is an experiment to see how high a ball will bounce on the different surfaces. We will use 5 different surfaces - concrete , wood , grass , lino and carpet material.To do this we must use the same size ball to reduce excess drag and drop it from the same height each time . That is one variable (surface type) , the other is ball material - tennis ball , golf ball , bounce ball , cricket ball and baseball . We would drop it from the same height each time . We try bouncing the ball from either variable 3 times each so we can later work out an average height which will make the results more reliable . For accuracy we will do a sample test for each variable to see where about the ball will bounce to , this means...
