Monday 7th August 2006. Data handling coursework. By Rose Bickerstaff. An investigation to compare the height and weight of the girls and boys at Mayfield School. For my investigation, I am going to compare the height and weight of a percentage of the girls and boys in year 10 at Mayfield School to see if there is a correlation between the two sets of results. I am then going to see if there is a correlation between my first set of results and the results of the girls and boys height and weight in year 11. I predict that the taller people in the year group will weigh more than the shorter people. I think this because people who are taller have a bigger mass and will therefore weigh more. For the second part of my investigation, I predict that there will be the same sort of trend as the first part but...
