Activity B: An Observation State the aim. The aim of this observation is to see who holds the door open for whom. Describe the categories of behaviour that you observed and the rating or coding system that you used. This observation was broken down into two main categories, the subject's sex and their stature in the college environment; for example whether they are a member of staff, or a student. Therefore the results would be recorded in a table showing: male student; female student; male staff; female staff, and would be recorded using a tally system. Give Details of the sample you observed. There were 60 subjects observed, out the those sixty they were broken down into male or female, and student or staff, thus there were two age ranges one was 16-19, and the other was a far more broad range of 25-65.
