Speech on Sports Cars Introduction But what exactly is a super car? There are no 'supercar' leagues to provide exact definitions, but almost everyone can tell a supercar when they see one. Supercars are more than just sports cars. They are fast, and they perform better than other cars on the road. Most importantly, perhaps, they are exciting to look at, and they have been designed by someone with a passion for cars- fast cars. ----- Pressure is constantly on engineers and designers to come up with a car that is better and more desirable than the others in its class. For cars that are used for travelling to work, or for family use, economy and reliability, as well as low cost are the major selling points.
