EDEXCEL 2003 DISPATCH 2 CANDIDATE SHEET SYLLABUS 1387/1388 MATHEMATICS GCSE USED CAR PRICES F,I & H In this coursework I have been asked to investigate and analyze the data of different cars. In my project I will be comparing and analyzing the ages, prices and mileages of the cars Ford and Vauxhall. My investigation will be based on the hypothesis that the oldest the car would be the more the mileage will be. For gathering the data I will use tables and for presenting the results I will use: * Scatter diagrams and * Cumulative graphs As there are only 29 Ford and Vauxhall cars this would be the sample for my investigation. I will be discussing three variables: - * Age * Mileage and * Price I have chosen my sample by picking all the Ford and Vauxhall cars. None of the data is unreliable in my coursework. Following is all the data related to the Ford cars which I will be investigating and analyzing.
