Data Handling Investigation Introduction My task for this Maths coursework is to investigate the secondary data, which was given to me. It consisted of different sets of information on one hundred cars. I had to select thirty cars from this set of data so I decided to chose them systematically, beginning at the third car and going up in threes (e.g. 3, 6, 9 etc). I had the option of selecting the cars systematically, random or stratified, I decided to use systematic sampling because I believe it wouldn't be bias that way. Variables I am primarily going to investigate, since they could have an affect on my overall results are the make and model of the car, the price at new, the depreciation, whether the car has central locking or not and the car's insurance group.
