Hypothesis I predict that a broadsheet newspaper would have more words, longer words and longer sentences then a tabloid because the people that generally read a tabloid newspaper use more complex and words than that of somebody who would read a tabloid newspaper. I also think that the word length in a local newspaper would have a word length that is approximately in the middle of the broadsheet and tabloid newspapers word length. I think that the magazine will have a word length that is around the same as the tabloid newspaper because the same kind of people that read the tabloid newspaper will read the magazine. Introduction I am going to prove that my hypothesis is correct or incorrect by analysing data from different newspapers and magazines.
