Something you don't know about "Gay" It was several years ago when the first time I heard the word gay in China. One day, while my friend Sherry and I were walking on the street hand in hand, two foreigners passed by and murmured: "gay!" They did not know that Sherry had lived for two years in Australia and understood what they meant. "They think we are homosexual." She told me with a laugh. "What? Are you kidding me?" I just couldn't believe it. "I'm not kidding. From the view of westerns, people of the same gender walked so close must be homosexual." "Gosh! I'm a gay? They thought we are gays?
