GCSE Maths Coursework Project Section 1:- Introduction In my investigation I am going to be comparing aircraft from the Royal Air Force (RAF) and the United States Air Force (USAF), I will use comparisons to find out which of the two forces is stronger, more powerful and has a greater Air Power. I have gathered information about 26 aircraft, 13 from the RAF and another 13 from the USAF; they are split into four groups. These groups are the aircrafts roles, Training, Reconnaissance, Frontline and Transport/Tanker. The Questions 1. Which air force is the fastest? 2. Who has the furthest range? 3. Who has the largest aircraft? By this I mean who has the highest average length. 4. Who is capable of larger payloads? i.e. who has the longest average wingspan? 5.
