In this investigation I will:> Write a hypothesis about the length of words in Broadsheet newspapers and Tabloid newspapers.> Design and carry out an investigation to test my hypothesis. Aim My aim is to find out whether tabloid newspapers are harder to read than broadsheet newspapers. I will do this by comparing articles from within the newspapers and by comparing the space allocated to pictures on the first 10 pages of each newspaper. Hypothesis My hypothesis is that tabloid newspapers will be easier to read than broadsheet newspapers. I think this is true because tabloid newspapers are mainly a source of light reading and entertainment, whereas broadsheet newspapers contain more knowledgeable and formal articles.
