Maths Coursework T-Totals In this coursework I will be focusing on T-Numbers. I will be investigating the relationship between T-totals and T-numbers. In my investigation I will try and find out the relationships between the grid size and the transformations of the T-shapes. The T-number is always the number at the bottom of the T shape and the T-total is always all the numbers inside the T-shape added together. This is a T-shape below; I will look at how the T-number is linked to the T-total. The T-number is 20 28 29 30 37 38 39 46 47 48 The T-total is the total of the numbers inside the T-shape. 28+ 29 + 30 + 38 + 47 = 172. The T-total in this T-Shape is 172. Firstly I will use my knowledge of nth term to create an algebraic equation that will explain the relationship between the T-number and T-total.
