They will be seen on grids of numbers like this: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 This particular grid can be described as 5 x 5 grid because it goes 5 numbers across and 5 numbers down. You will also notice that the 5 times table occurs if you read the last column downwards. These grids can vary in size but the height and width of them will always be the same as each other. So for example you will be able to get such grids like 3 x 3 grids or 7 x 7 grids but not uneven numbers like 4 x 9 grids.
