There are three Bugs, Happy, Sad and Blank. Each Bug splits into two new Bugs. All the Bugs live for the same amount of time. When they split, they die. For short I've written a: Happy Bug = H Sad Bug = S Blank Bug = B H splits into 1 S & 1 B, S splits into 2 H and B splits into 1 H & 1 S. The Bugs started with a Happy Bug. It was the first generation, then it split into a Sad Bug and a Blank Bug. They were the second generation. These two split into three Happy Bugs and 1 Sad bug. This was the third generation, and so on. I have continued onward onto the 4th and 5th generations, the pattern continues as shown below. It reveals the sample of my results from the 1st to the 5th generations...
