Do Maggots move towards or away from the stimulus of gravity? Prediction I think that the maggots will move away from gravity. This is because it is an easier route for them to take. Method We used: Retort stand, Boss, Clamp, Choice chamber, Maggots, Stop watch. We are going to put twenty maggots into the choice chamber. Every thirty seconds we will count to see how many maggots there are in the top and bottom sections of the choice chamber. We will do this for six hundred seconds. After this we will change the angle of the choice chamber to make a slope. Each angle will be timed twice. The angles will range from zero to fifteen. The angles will be measured accurately by using paper angles which we will make to the sizes we need.
