HANNAH THOMSON 11E GCSE MATHS Number Grid Coursework For this coursework I am going to investigate into number grids, first by taking a 10x10 grid and drawing a 2x2 square on it. I will multiply the top left number and bottom right number of the square and find the product, then I will find the product of the top right and bottom left numbers. After that, I will find the difference between the two numbers for the square and will produce a formula so it is possible to find this number using algebra. Once I have found the differences of all squares on a 10x10 grid I will find a formula for all randomly placed squares on a 10x10 grid. After this I will find the formula for rectangles on a 10x10 grid and then a formula for squares on a 5x5 grid. I am going to start by investigating into randomly placed 2x2 squares...
