Investigating the Gradient of a Graph of the Form 'y=x3' Aim: To find a relationship between the gradient of 'y= x3' and its formula. Thus working out the gradient function. In this case I will measure the gradient at, -4, -2, 3, and 5. Then you form a right-angled triangle on the tangent and find the gradient as for the 'y=ax' graph.
