Summary The purpose of this report is to ascertain as to whether it is necessary and justified to introduce a reform for cohabitants with regard to finance and property. There are certain requirements in order to qualify for the initiation of the reform. They are apparent in the description of 'cohabitation'. The definition is a couple living together in a consensual union, when not legally married to each other (that is, when not in a registered marriage). It is also known as a 'de facto' relationship.
