Ashcars Ltd is a small used car retailer located in Welwyn Garden City. It is a relatively small shop but has a large garage located in St. Albans. Around January 2002 a new car retailer named "Autocars" was built in Welwyn Garden City which resulted in a huge loss of customers for Ashcars. The reason that more customers are interested in Autocars rather than Ashcars was the fact that Autocars was able to serve customers quicker because of their new computer system. When a customer enters Ashcars and asks for a particular car, Michael (one of the staff) will write down their order and the customer is told to come back another day to see whether that particular car is available in the garage.
