Before I do anything, I need to load Microsoft Access. To make my life easier, I have already placed a shortcut on the desktop, so I simply double click it. As I haven't yet started the Database, I need to create a blank one. To do this I first need to click the Create a new file... link.. On the next screen, I have to click the Blank database... link under New: I now need to save the Database for the first time. I first need to select the drive to save it on. I next have to choose a folder location and file name to save it under. I now want to create my first table in the design view. To do this I must double click the required option. I am now going to backup my work, as last time I got a long way and my data stick stopped working so lost it...
