ICT AND SOCIETY Introduction In this coursework I will be talking about people with disabilities (People who are Blind), I will talk about how ICT affects the needs of blind people, the type of special technologies that are designed for them and how it helps them with their everyday routine and lifestyle. I will explain each and every technology they use for either Personal, Social or Work-related reasons. I will be talking about a blind woman called Mary Cox who is Public information officer and works for the RNIB. Background information Mary Cox is blind woman who has lost her eyesight since she the age of 18, she wasn't born as a blind but began to loose her eyesight as she grew older.
