Introduction There are many differences between an OLD booking system and a NEW booking system and also there are many advantages and disadvantages to both booking systems. There are two different booking systems in the RiverChing Sports Centre, the old and the new. In the old booking system, they don't use a computer as much as the new booking system. In the old system, a member phones up and gives the receptionist all the necessary information. The receptionist writes the information into a book. At the beginning of each day, the information is copied on to a display board to show what activity is booked, when it is booked and how many members are expected.
