Testing the system Testing the system is a very important part of crating a database, as it will reassure of what has been successful in my database and what needs improving, so that the users would not find any problems. Test Number Purpose of test Test Data Expected Result 1. Minimum and maximum range Insert a postcode over the limit of 5 characters. Should not allow the data to be entered over 5 characters. 2. See whether command buttons in main menu are successful I will select an individual button and see if it takes me where I want it too. It should open the form I desire. 3. Check drop down list I will add a new customer and see the selection present for the 'gender' drop down list. There should be the two selections, 'F', and 'M'. 4.
