Mathematics GCSE Statistics Coursework 2005 Laura Carr Mayfield School Introduction For my Year 10 GCSE Statistics Coursework I am going to analyse, refine, and use data from the Mayfield School Spreadsheet to compile a piece of Coursework counting for 20% of my final Statistics grade. For this piece of Coursework I intend to use both Primary (collected by myself from pupils within the school) and Secondary (already provided in the Mayfield School Spreadsheet) data. I am going to take a random sample of data from the Mayfield School Spreadsheet, and survey a random sample of people in my school with questions related to the provided data, and using both the primary and secondary data I am going to use some of my different statistical and mathematical skills to prove, or indeed contradict a hypothesis that I myself will draw up.
