Applied ICT: Unit 3 Coursework Introduction For this coursework, I will be researching on "Instant Messaging" and using surveys to analyse on how people use instant messaging and why they use it when they know the advantages and disadvantages of using an IM application. I have carried out surveys that include a varied age range so that I do not drop into the band of biased end results. An IM application is used throughout the globe as a feature of the WWW to connect globally efficiently and instantly. The different IM applications offer different support and service. I will also find out what features of an IM application using my pre-purposed survey. I will then use the results from the survey and export them in to the database. To use a more inverted survey, I could have used an online questionnaire using MYSQL and that could be used for accurate transfers of results...
