Reorganisation of Local Councils did away with Leigh Borough and the founder, Ray Brunt, wanted to keep the 'Borough' and the club is now known as either title. Matches for Leigh takes place at Golborne Sports Ground, Stone Cross Lane, Lowton. Current sponsors are Barrowman, Jackson and Stephen (Chartered Accountants) in Leigh. The 'Jackson' in the title is our very own Club President, John Jackson. Each member of the club pays a fee for playing (subs) after each game, and a beginning year insurance fee.
