The four aims of the league were: * To discourage aggression I think the league succeeded in discouraging aggression as situations that would normally end in conflict were avoided such as: The Aaland islands where Finland and Sweden both claimed rights of these islands the league granted the islands to Finland and war was avoided. Corfu where the border between Greece and Albania was being sorted out, an Italian ambassador Tellini and his team were surveying the border and were killed so Italy would have gone to war with Greece and conflict was avoided thanks to the league. * To encourage trade and co-operation The league encouraged trade and co-operation by trade throughout the league and preventing war but if an economic sanction was put in place then they were unable to trade with the league. I don't think the league contributed to this and only worsened
