... How far was Germany justified in complaining About the treaty of Versailles. On June 1919 the treaty of Versailles was signed by two unimportant people, Belle and Muller. They weren't allowed to see the points before signing it ,they were simply told that sign it or war will continue. So they signed it ,when the German government actually had the chance to look at points, they realized that there were lots of harsh and unfair points which the Germans could not accept. So I think that Germany was justified in complaining about some part s of the treaty. The Germans complained because they were treated harshly ,the result of the Versailles treaty were severe .Germany was to take the blame for starting the war .(The War Guilt clause).France who is scared of Germany 's power (from the last to attacks)wanted Germany's army to go down to 100,000 men and also they were volunteers,
