Have a little read: ... GCSE Modern World History Coursework Assignment C In Hitler's Germany, the Nazis were faced with opposition, but it was often unorganised, scattered and on a small scale. There were many reasons why people opposed. Although some people benefited from Nazi policies, they were denied rights such as freedom of speech and freedom of religion- Especially the Jews, and homosexuals, who did not even receive basic human dignity. In this essay I am going to explain how far I agree with this statement by exploring the different reasons why there was little opposition. An important reason why people did not stand up to Hitler and the Nazis was because of propaganda, which is mentioned in this statement. Propaganda is the art of persuasion, spreading of something, which is intended to persuade or convince people to think, or act a certain way.
