Use this source and your own knowledge to describe Nazi attitudes towards women in society The Nazis expected women to be good housewives and stay at home cooking and cleaning. They encouraged women to have as many "pure" German children as possible. The rhyme is trying to convince women that it is not their job to be out working, they need to stay at home and be dependant on the man for money. The Nazis believed that a woman's place was in the home and men were definitely regarded as more important in society. However, that is not to say that women weren't important, in some ways they were, for example, Hitler wanted women to bring up as many children as possible.
