Macbeth essay In the following essay, I am going to prove that Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are not one dimensioned characters I will do this by proving that they have some redeeming features. Macbeth is a brave character at both the beginning and the end of the play. At the beginning he is successful in defeating the Norwegians and the king awards Macbeth a new title for being so brace. "What we hath lost, noble Macbeth hath won." Also at the end Macbeth is brave as he doesn't back down from the battle. "I'll fight till from my bones my flesh be hack'd, give me my armour." Macbeth is very patriotic in the beginning of the play because he vigorously supported Scotland, he defended Scotland and he fought valiantly against his enemies the Norwegians and defeated them.
