Source A is part of an article in the 'East End Observer' (a newspaper), describing the murders of Martha Tabram and Polly Nicholls. Here we learn that the information showed that the murders were by a demented being and extraordinary violence was carried out. In source A the writer is telling us about the murder and the condition of the murder, the source is given us a description but there is no proof that its reliable as newspapers tend to exaggerate to sell their papers.
