2. Study Sources A, B, C Does the evidence of Source C support the evidence in Sources A and B about the effects of pop music in the 1960s? Explain your answer. Source C is a personal account written by Paul McCartney in 1984 to inform people about the behaviour of fans in the 1960's The source discusses how fans in the 1960's were different to fans today "who are a little more reserved" but he explains that the supporters were "never as crazy as they used to say it was". Source C supports Source A because they both talk about the positive impact of The Beatles on young people. In Source A Joanna Lumley describes The Beatles as "cool, hip, smart, lippy and funny".
