Cyclone Ada : January 17, 1970 Over the years the world has been devastated by the numerous natural disasters occurring each year. These events are unavoidable and scar the people who are affected for the rest of their lives. One of the most disastrous of these disasters is a cyclone, known as a hurricane in North America or typhoon in Asia. The Australian cyclone season is from November to April and mainly affects coastal areas North of Perth along most of the Western Australian and Northern Territory coasts. Another area heavily affected is most of the Queensland coast. A cyclone is formed in stages, based on a few factors. The first and most important factor is the right temperature and place.
