A time in Africa Imagine; a place like no other on Earth. All around me lay the result of a force unknown to man. Swirls of heat gathered around my perspiring body. The feeling of hunger loomed in the dry air, attacking at my throat. As far as the eye could see there were miles and miles of deserted dead land with trees withering in the distance; dying for water to quench their everlasting thirst. How they longed to hear the tingling sound of the rain, feel moist Earth and experience the wind weaving in and out of their leaves once more. These thoughts revisited my mind, I soon realised that the tree was an image of how I and many others were feeling. The distinct feeling of the rock hard mud beneath my feet still conjures in my mind. Even the slightest tip toe would create a whirlwind of dust...
