... Global Warming is the increase in the Earth's average temperature, which in turn causes changes in the climate. A warmer Earth may lead to changes in rainfall patterns, a rise in sea level, and it may have an effect on plants, wildlife and even humans. Scientists say that global warming is caused by us humans by using too much of carbon dioxide in our daily routine. At this very point in time every single person is doing there bit to destroy our world! So what is Global warming? Greenhouse gases keep our planet warm. They exist naturally in the atmosphere, heating it by trapping energy that has originally come from the Sun. This process is called the natural greenhouse effect. Without the greenhouse gases the surface of the Earth would be as cold as the surface of the Moon, about -18°C. In fact the average surface temperature of the Earth is about
