Why has the employment structure of the UK changed over time? The different types of employment in Britain has changed a lot over years for a lot of different geographical reasons and split generally into physical and human causes. To start off, The primary jobs like farming and just generally harvesting raw materials has had a massive drop between the time periods of Pre-Industrial to Post Industrial, or the 1750's to now, this is because of human causes because industry had been taking advantage of poorer countries (3rd world countries) or/and LEDC's. The United Kingdom started the Slave Trade in 1562, when Elizabeth I was in power, and Admiral John Hawkins led the very first slave expedition where they made across to Africa to sell weaponry and metal for slaves, and then would go far west to the west Indies to make the slaves harvest sugar and other goods which...
