Glasgow was once a major trading centre as it was located on the lowest bridging point on the River Clyde. It is also a very accessible area due to its many transport links such as; * Trains, Glasgow central railway station. * Buses such as Buchanan Street bus station terminal * Many roads, M77,M8 and M74. Commuting is so busy on Glasgow's roads that 32% of the amount of people commuting is made up by drivers. This has many adverse effects to Glasgow and its people. The congestion often delays traffic, fumes from the cars pollute the air and many road accidents happen.
