Recently in Britain, people have begun to shop in out of town shopping centres or retail parks. This is because it is much more convenient to do all your shopping under one roof where everything you need is within close proximity. In the CBD there are specific shops that only sell a small range of a certain product. Whereas retail park supermarkets sell a much wider range of products and for a cheaper price because they don't have the high land costs like CBD shops. Also, they can buy their products in bulk because they have enough money and storage capacity. Furthermore this can means they can lower their prices because of the discounted bulk buying.
