Introduction As part of my GCSE geography coursework, I was asked to test the hypothesis, 'the development of large shopping centres have major impacts on the low order business and shopping habits'. This to my understanding means how small businesses are affected by the development of large shopping centres and the effect low order businesses. To do this I will construct a questionnaire, which will provide me with information about peoples shopping habits, which will allow me to make a comparison between large shopping centres and low order businesses. This information will help me test my hypothesis. The two large shopping centres I will focus on are Brent Cross and Harrow Shopping Centre. The two low order businesses I will also focus on are Neasden Shopping Centre and Staples Corner. I will carry out my surveys at these four locations.
