Have a little read: ... Macbeth coursework In the play Macbeth written by William Shakespeare a main names Macbeth is the main character. He changes from being a loyal, brave noble warrior who is dedicated to his country and because of his greed became a character who is less admirable. At the start of the Play we are introduced to Macbeth as a courageous warrior who wins a very important battle and saves Scotland from the Norwegian King. To honour his bravery and service to his country King Duncan gives Macbeth the tittle of Thane of Cawdore. "For brave Macbeth- well he deserves that name, - disdaining fortune, with his brandish'd steel, which smoke'd with bloody execution" This tells us that Macbeth fought bravely against Macdonwald's and fully deserves the new title that has been given to him.
