Have a little read: ... Holiday Memory A flurry of T-shirts into the suitcase. A surge of sandwiches in bags. A herd of heavy elephants run across the upstairs landing in their haste to get to the bathroom before everyone else. The song 'We're all going on a summer holiday' repeats through my mind, although it's not summer, it's the middle of December. I hurriedly brush hair and throw last minute items into my bag for the plane. 4 am is much too early to be awake on a Saturday- especially on a Saturday! That's my initial response to being woken up, and cruelly made to leave my nice warm bed, my fat pillows, my thick duvet.
