Write a series of 3 detailed statements in the first person (from Eliza's perspective), to explore the characterisation and content of the play focusing particularly on Act V Eliza Doolittle's Statements: What I have learned: 1. About myself. 2. About men. 3. About the world I live in. 1) My transformation to a lady has as taught me much of aristocratic values but has most importantly revealed a pathway to respecting myself. During my memorable row with that brute Higgins, I realised a strange air of equality us, which I would never have dreamt of prior to this experience. Maybe we were both always on the same plain, but only then did I feel compelled to challenge his haughty egotism. Back in my old time as a lowly 'flower girl', I have been deemed a "floozy" by society, that will prostitute herself to get any sum of money. My time with Higgins has transformed me...
